Thanks to a partnership between Skybound and Walker Stalkers, as well as several backers on Kickstarter, an all new experience is coming to Walker Stalker Con.  The Walking Dead experience plans to subject fans to an all new level of terror by locking them into two truck trailers with walkers. The goal… to see if they can escape with their lives.

The Airship project hopes to bring a new tavern dedicated to board and tabletop gamers to Atlanta.

Project creator Christopher Wong hopes to bring a special new kind of gaming hangout to Atlanta. Described as a “lounge for lovers of board games, tabletop role-playing, and card games” for “social nerds,” Airship is intended to be a full service tavern/eatery built with social gaming in mind.

Battle And Brew Hosts Its First Guilty Gear Xrd Tournament

Battle And Brew, a popular gamer-centric pub in Sandy Springs, will be hosting its first ever Guilty Gear Xrd tournament May 18.

The tournament is a best of 3, double elimination played on PS3. Players are allowed to bring their own controllers and game pads and anyone wanting to bring extra consoles or copies of the game are welcome to do so. Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox Performing In Atlanta May 22

Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, a musical group known for doing retro or ‘vintage’ takes on current music, will be performin at the Buckhead Theater.

Postmodern Jukebox is more than just a band, it’s more of a musical collective. Featuring nearly 50 members, the group performs retro covers of the most popular pop songs in styles ranging from jazz and swing to 60s Motown.  They are also known for a popular series of videos titled “Saturday Morning Slow Jams” which covers the theme songs of popular cartoons like Pokemon.

Prequel For Horror Film ‘The Ring’ Filming In Atlanta

Casting directors are looking for stand-ins for The Ring prequel, titled RINGS.

Like previous Ring films, RINGS‘ story concentrates on a video tape that kills people a week aver they’ve watched it. According to Variety, the film will be directed by  F. Javier Gutierrez who is also slated to direct The Crow reboot.

SMITE Hosts ‘Spring Fling’ Charity Event To Raise Money For American Cancer Society

Hi-Rez Studios will be hosting a charity event in conjunction with the SMITE Pro Leauge Spring Finals.

The charity event will take place over two days — April 23 and 24 — preceding the Pro League Finals, in Alpharetta. The Hi-Rez team has planned two full days of charity events staring off with a  3v3 tournament featuring the teams participating in the Spring Finals.
